When we moved to London we had to give up our beloved springer spaniel Oscar (he was our baby) – he is very happy now running wild on a trout farm in Devon with a very nice friend of my parents. I can’t wait til we have a bit more time and space so we can get another family dog, I grew up with them and really want to give my family the same.
That is great! What a good dog!
He is good, bless him. He’s 14 this month so to have so much patience with Sam is brilliant.
I would like to have a lovely dog like that. How sweet.
He’s a star! Though slightly incontinent now. Which is nice.
Pals for ever – a boys best friend
I hope so! I grew up having a dog so I love that Sam’s doing the same.
And he doesn’t even look annoyed at being sat on…
He’s not! He lets Sam do whatever he wants to him. It’s a fair trade off though, Sam gives Sunny (I didn’t name him) most of his food.
Aww! My in laws dog is exactly the same and Kai has such a lovely relationship with him. A boy and his dog is a very special thing indeed
It is! Sam adores him. Apart from when Sunny barks & Sam shouts ‘Ay ay ay’ at him in the manner of the Scousers from Harry Enfield!
How adorable!

So sweet. I found our dear dog covered in blankets and wearing a tiara the other day, poor patient beast.
I think she tolerates it because she gets to lick their peanut butter fingers when I forget to wash their hands after leaving the table!
