The eternal optimist…

…looks for the best in everyone. She believes in them and then is usually left feeling betrayed.

 

…thinks things will turn out just perfect in the end. Then it doesn’t & she is left feeling let down.

 

…expects others to go that extra mile for her, like she would do for them. But they don’t. And that hurts.

 

…treats everyone with respect and doesn’t quite understand why she is walked all over.

 

 ...isn’t a doormat, she just puts other people first.

 

 …is no longer such an optimist.

 

 …is starting to think that being the eternal pessimist might be easier.
