I don’t know where he got that from *cough*

March 1, 2011

Sam’s back at play group today after half term. He was very excited about seeing his best friend Jacob and showing him his new flashing light trainers. By the way – took Sam for his feet measuring this weekend as it had been a while since we got his last pair of shoes. I wasn’t expecting his feet to have grown but, noooo, it’s like they knew I was skint! A full size! Fab. So off we trotted 15 minutes later ยฃ60 lighter (thanks though to Mum-ma who paid for them ๐Ÿ™‚ What would we do without mums?) with these gorgeous shoes. Sam’s very into dinosaurs at the moment – can you tell?!

They’re called Stomposaurus & have a T Rex skeleton on the sole!

The heel & dinosaur's eye lights up - Sam LOVES this!

Anyway. They’ve been playing with Play Doh at play groupย today – one of Sam’s favourite activities. He got a huge pack of it for Christmas and likes to play with it everyday. Craig takes the dog out, I get on the floor and Sam & I create all kinds of weird and wonderful things. Egg and chips. Sausage and chips. Spagย bol. Well it is tea time & I’m hungry! I may have even done a Play Doh reenactment of what the dog was doing on the park and how daddy picks it up. Ahem. Classy me.

All the children were making lovely things with Play Doh: animals, ice cream, wiggly worms etc (You can see where this is going can’t you?) and one of the ‘Aunties’ asked Sam what he was making.

‘A dog poo.’

Oops.

    Hi Emma
Really love your blog – and I don’t even have kids! Love your style, wit, humour – great stuff.
How do you manage to cope with everything – job, being a mum, blogging, reading 100 books; I am impressed. It’s great fun to read your blog, keep on rocking ๐Ÿ˜‰

Hi Hippycat!! Great to ‘see’ you again. Thanks so much for your lovely comments ๐Ÿ™‚
I am not great at juggling everything – as you can probably tell blogging is taking a back seat to most things at the moment. There just aren’t enough hours in the day!!
