Monday Meal Planning (on Tuesday)
The lurgy hit us felt pelt last week. Sam’s cold & cough ended up as a chest infection, ear infection, high temp & general miserableness which then morphed into vomited at 1.45am one memorable morning. He’s had a few days off play group & his infections seem to have gone but his cough is as bad. We’re trialling Karvol plug in’s while we consider a humidifier. Anyone have any experience of them? We don’t want to pay a fortune for it not to have an impact. Any advice would be great.
As Sam was becoming lurgy free it hit Craig & I full force. Stomach bug a-go-go for us at the weekend. This was not appreciated as we were looking forward to a lovely relaxing family weekend after a pretty hard week. It also meant all the lovely meals I had planned went out of the window. Let’s hope for a less stressful week this week!
Monday – ham & egg cobbler. (did it, ate it, never again. Bleugh)
Tuesday – creamy veg risotto with low fat chive Philly
Wednesday – Potato frittata with pesto & goat’s cheese
Thursday – Chilli con carne
Friday – Sausage casserole
Saturday – Salmon & cous cous for me; gammon, egg & chips for Craig
Sunday – Sam’s choosing a treat for me for Mother’s Day. As of right now it’s a chicken nugget happy meal from McD’s bought at the drive thru & eaten at home. Lovely!
